A good ongoing story
These books are fun and interesting. The author does a nice job keeping the characters unique and true to self. The legal aspect of this one was a little weak. I likd how the characters work to divulge and review the complexity of the legal issue with everyone contributing. In this one, the legal description and review is limited to a list of 5 or 6 things repeated at least twice without detail or revelation. If I didn't want a little legal education with my story- why would I read legal thrillers? Please give us more of that. Rifka is pretty comfortable with her life- no real reason to keep beating that bush. If she was being herself- the riot would happen but maybe she could of done something different. Maybe there would be more of a story there.too quick and too wrapped up with a bow.
Another fun story
This series continues to evolve. It started out good and has got better over time. If you are looking for a bit of a different twist on the usual doomsday scenario science fiction, I would highly recommend this series. The characters are developing well and there is, as usual, a supporting cast of tie in characters with the rest of the Kurtherian universe. Well worth the time to read.
Everything you need in a scifi adventure far from earth
A great yarn spinning away into space, with all the gadgets you could possibly need, snarky talk and every kind of creature , including that strange and unpredictable ones, humans and their need for adventure and justice. With deftly sketched characters and strange and wonderful worlds, escape into infinity.
I love this series!!!
Just what I needed, a story of Justice working the way it should! Rivka and her crew/family are wonderful distraction I needed from the world of today. Laughter, danger, excitement (the fish!!), and the law applied as it was meant to be. I've read every book in this series and each of them deserved the 5 stars I have them. This is a super fun series so far
I really enjoyed all the books in this series so far. There has been a lot of really fun character development. It tied back into the other kutherian universe books enough to make it fun that way as well. I definitely recommend this series. Hopefully there will be future books as well.

I absolutely love the J J & E series!! Whatever you do, please don't stop. Who knew that so many aspects of the law could be so interesting? Always just enough twists to keep it interesting. I always jump right into every book when it is released. Now I hope to get some sleep tonight!!

Not as earthshaking a deliberation as her previous cases but just as much action and shows some evolution of her gang. And lots of fun. I read it in one day. It helps that I hardly ever wait to read the "Judge" books once they are available. This is a great series.

I will always read this series the characters are great the story is always balanced and somehow the author can sneak in some legal learning with every story lol. If you are looking for a great book series to sink your teeth and time into look no further cause you found it here!

I'm always surprised at how deeply I become immersed in these fantastic adventures. You make me laugh, cry, and feel the anger of Rivka. The characters are alive and kicking in my head, and I am loving every minute of it. Please keep them coming.

I have liked every book in this series. It just keeps getting better and better. I love Rivkas' family on the ship. Can not wait to see where their next adventure takes them.
